How Technology is Changing Communication in the Workplace

While reading the article,  How Technology is Changing Communication in the Workplace , I found it extremely interesting. While being a strategic communication major, this article helped me realize that the people you work with, and your bosses are becoming less formal to talk too. I also found it interesting that Anna Pickard, the creative director for Quora, said how these apps would help us speak more clearly to our teammates. She also mentioned how it would help us learn how to be more effective when we talk. Slack is a communication tool where you can communicate with your teammates in open channels, that are organized by different teams, topics, or projects. I find it interesting how this application helps people to communicate in the workspace more clearly and direct instead of questioning someone's idea or need.
