Free Expression: Individual Self- Fulfillment

Individual Self- Fulfillment ( Self Actualization ) - means that free speech allows individuals to express themselves. They are able to create and identify, therefore becoming an aspect of human dignity. 

I find Individual Self- Fulfillment to be one of the most important, inspiring, and underrated values of them all. What most people want to be in this world is heard. No one wants to be invisible and if they have individual self-fulfillment this lets them express who they truly are. This helps to shape us into who we are and who we plan to be in the future. The First Amendment has allowed us to express ourselves as Americans, unlike other countries. Individual self- fulfillment helps us when following the first amendment. It lets us be whoever we want to be. 

Individual self- fulfillment lets us be the most we can be. According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, self- fulfillment is the on the top, the one everyone inspires to be at. I think this is why this is the most inspiring of the eight expressions. It's unique to every individual and everyone inspires to be there best self.
